A client from Fargo, North Dakota, brought his 2016 Ford Mustang to the Audio Garage to have the windows tinted. After reading several of our online reviews, he was confident we had the skills and experience to meet his needs. He wanted a look that would complement the black paint. The added security of the dark tint and UV-blocking properties were a bonus.
We used 50% tint on the front door windows. This level of tint is the darkest allowed in North Dakota and Minnesota. We used 5% tint on the rear three windows to enhance the stealth look. The 5% tint also helps to block as much sun energy as possible to keep the interior cool.
The client likes that the tint adds security to the vehicle – seeing what is inside the vehicle is more challenging with the windows tinted.
In the event a window gets broken, the tiny pieces of tempered glass will stay adhered to the film.
