Three Steps To A Better-Sounding Motorcycle Audio System

June 3, 2016 By Nick Paulson Leave a Comment

Motorcycle AudioAt the Audio Garage, great-sounding music is our passion. It is the reason we started our company, and it is still our driving focus today. If you own a motorcycle, chances are you are unhappy with the audio system on your bike. The good news is that we can help. We are experts at upgrading motorcycles to give them a combination of modern technology, great clarity and all the volume you will ever need. When clients are in our store, we often discuss a three-tier approach to improving the sound systems on their bikes.

Here are three steps to a better-sounding motorcycle audio system.

1. Speakers

Motorcycle AudioSpeakers are the weakest link in a motorcycle. Have you noticed that, when you turn up the music, it sounds hollow and tinny? That is the fault of the speakers. The Audio Garage in Fargo can replace your existing speakers with high-performance models that will dramatically increase the clarity. On many bikes, including the 1998-2013 Harley-Davidson touring models, we can increase the size of the speakers, giving you more output.

Adding more speakers is another way to improve the sound quality and output of your stereo system. Many bikes only come with one pair of speakers. Our team can install additional speakers to give your stereo system the capability for much greater output.

2. Power

Now that you have better-sounding speakers, you need power. Lots of power. When you are riding up the road at speed in a motorcycle, you experience lots of road noise, so the stereo system in your bike has to play louder than it does in your car to overcome that noise. We have many models of amplifiers designed to work with your bike’s smaller electrical system and fit into tight spaces, all while giving the volume you have always wanted.

3. Radio

Motorcycle AudioA replacement radio is a popular option if you have a bike with some age to it. Our highly trained installers can enhance your bike with a new stereo system in your fairing, outfitted with Bluetooth to stream the music from your smartphone, as well as USB ports to play your external media and charge your portable devices. And don’t worry – your handlebar audio controls will work perfectly when we are finished.

Most Importantly, Pick The Right People To Work On Your Motorcycle Audio System

When choosing someone to work on your pride and joy, you want to know they will take great care of it while it’s in their possession. Our team has been trusted by clients with vehicles worth more than $1 million. When you couple that with our installations, which are reference-standard, you have a match made in heaven.

We invite you to ride on over to the Audio Garage in Fargo. Our team will work with you to design and build the motorcycle audio system that best fits your unique needs.
