A client from Fargo was referred to our team by the local Porsche dealership to get a remote start on his 2019 Porsche Cayenne Turbo. We selected the Viper VSM550 SmartStart unit, which provides remote start if he presses the lock button on his OEM key fob three times. The system can also be remotely activated through the SmartStart app on his phone, which offers control of lock, unlock and remote start functions. Built-in GPS location information and confirmation of commands being received by the system are transmitted instantly for quick notification. This unit, and our labor to install it, are covered by a lifetime warranty, and doesn’t affect the vehicle factory warranty at all.
