Aside from its massive size, the DNR1007XR display features a 1280×720-pixel resolution that’s 2.4 times as sharp as conventional designs. State-of-the-Art Navigation
As we mentioned, you can use your iPhone or an Android phone with the DNR1007XR via a Wi-Fi connection or a USB wired connection. These interfaces use the voice recognition technology built into your phone to make it easy to place phone calls, send text messages or choose entertainment options. You can also get detailed turn-by-turn navigation instructions using Google Maps or Waze.
Speaking of navigation, the DNR1007XR includes Garmin GPS navigation that offers photo-realistic Junction View, Lane Assist and three years of map updates included for free. Inrix traffic is also included, so you know your routes will be planned efficiently and safely.
Entertainment Sources and Radio Connectivity
The DNR1007XR includes an HD Radio tuner, an AV input and a USB port for a USB memory stick. You can play high-resolution FLAC and WAV files recorded at 192 kHz/24-bit or DSD audio files at 11.2 MHz. Video files up to 1920×1080 pixels are also compatible. The system includes an HDMI input and can mirror Android smartphones onto the massive screen.
From an audio perspective, the DNR1007XR will output analog audio up to 44 kHz. The system has a 13-band parametric equalizer, accurate two- or three-way electronic crossovers, digital time alignment and 5-volt preamp outputs.
Of course, being a Kenwood receiver, the system is compatible with the Maestro RR2 module, so you can integrate directly with your vehicle to display tire pressure, parking sensor or engine information. You can also control an optional K40 or Escort radar detector. The radio has four camera inputs and supports high-definition front and rear cameras.
